In a speech to a conservative legal group Saturday, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions blasted federal judges for issuing nationwide injunctions that have blocked President Donald Trump from enacting his policies on everything from sanctuary cities to transgender troops serving in the military. “In truth, this is a question of raw power-of who gets to decide the policy questions facing America: our elected representatives, our elected president or unelected lifetime-appointed federal judges,” Mr. Sessions told a gathering of the Federalist Society.
We have a messed-up judicial sysyem that has stripped power from the American citizens and handed it to foreign nationals and foreign governments who are our enemies.
Such actions by all three branches of our government are why I see eventual revolution in our country. I don’t say that lightly.
The only federal court specified in the Constitution is the Supreme Court. The other Federal courts are creations of Congress. Congress can, and at this point should, act to abolish the current court system and replace it with a new creation, including new judicial appointments. Drain the swamp.
Am I correct in my belief that the these judges can be removed by Congress? Of course that would require members of Congress to have the guts to perform their duties.
Too many RINO, faux-CONservatives in the swampy senate to get rid of them. Both of our senators come to mind.
